As the summer session begins, now is a great time to start looking forward to the opportunities available for alumni and friends this summer and fall. Keep reading for more information about the alumni tuition discount, the annual golf tournament and the Annual Fund.

Take Advantage of New Alumni Discount

Students on campusStarting with the Fall 2011 semester, new alumni applicants to one of Capitol's seven master's degree programs will receive a 10% tuition discount.

Alumni do not need to do anything except follow the normal admissions process to receive the discount. Alumni seeking a second or third master are eligible.

Currently enrolled students would need to take a leave of three semesters from the institution to qualify for the reduced tuition.

Graduate Registration Deadline: June 24

It's not too late to sign up for one of Capitol's seven master's degree programs. The deadline to register online is this Friday, June 24. Classes will begin the week of June 27.

 

Capitol offers master's degrees in business administration (MBA), astronautical engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, Internet engineering, information assurance and information and telecommunications systems management.

 

All of Capitol's graduate programs are completed online using real-time live-streaming audio, and are formatted in eight-week and 16-week terms.

 


Save the Date: Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament, Sept. 23 

Join fellow alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends of the college at the 2011 Scholarship Golf Tournament on September 23, 2011 at Glenn Dale Golf Club in Glenn Dale, Md.Logo golf ball

The tournament begins at 8 a.m. and will raise funds for student scholarships. The entry fee is $130 per person or $425 per foursome. All players will receive a free post-tournament round of golf at Glenn Dale.

Your fee also includes: a light breakfast, lunch, green fee and cart, tees, a ball marker repair tool, Capitol logo ball, Capitol shirt, and a Capitol sport bottle. The tournament will also include a long drive contest, closest to the pin contest, and a raffle. Returning sponsors will also receive a free hole sign.
