There's a lot going on at Capitol these days; we're welcoming new faces to campus and getting freshmen settled into their dorms, upperclassman and graduate students are back to their classes. Faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends are all working hard to make this the best year ever for the entire college community! Use this issue of the Connector to mark your calendar for the important events coming up this semester and to join in on the fun (don't forget to wear your Capitol gear!)

Military Friendly
School For the second year in a row, Capitol was named a Military Friendly School by G.I. Jobs magazine,
announced by the release of the publication's 2011 list of Military Friendly Schools. The list honors the top colleges, universities and higher
education institutions which are doing the most to embrace America's
veterans as students. Originating as a radio engineering institute offering
courses for Navy personnel in 1927, Capitol
College has a long, proud
history of educating active and former members of the armed forces. Participating
in the Yellow Ribbon Program and Montgomery GI Bill are just two examples of the many ways Capitol is military-friendly.

This could be the year you come back to Capitol
to get your master's degree! Capitol College
is offering one free credit towards your first enrollment in a master's degree
program when you attend a Virtual Open House. Just like an on-campus Open

and deans, ask questions, experience first-hand our unique
online platform, Capitol Live. To receive this credit, you must apply for admission and attend a VOH; credit
awarded only for enrollment in the semester following your VOH attendance. You
must meet the admissions requirements of the academic program to receive the
credit. Register now for the following VOH date exclusively for master's programs: |
IA Doctorate & VOH The students in the first cohort in the information assurance doctoral program have finished their first semester! Were you one of them? It's
not too late to sign up for one of the fastest growing degree programs around! If
you're interested in achieving academic excellence in cybersecurity and
pursuing your education to the highest level, contact us with your questions about the admissions process, degree requirements,
financial aid options, and course schedules.
