Capitol at CollegeBound
George Walls, director of undergraduate admissions, and other Capitol admissions representatives will be attending the CollegeBound Foundation Luncheon in Baltimore on July 28, 2010. As a partner in education with Capitol College, CollegeBound helps teens and their families navigate the admissions process, allowing many students to become the first in their family to go to college. Check out some of the other community partnerships that Capitol has forged with government, academia, and the local and regional communities and see how your company can get involved.
Opportunities in Information Assurance
When Capitol announced in March the addition of a doctor of science (DSc) degree in information assurance to its academic programs, hundreds of potential doctoral students signed up for the program. Were you one of them? If you're interested in achieving academic excellence in information assurance and pursuing your education to the highest level, contact us with your questions about the admissions process, degree requirements, financial aid options, and course schedules.

IAIn addition, undergraduates will now have a chance to be awarded with a new $5,000 information assurance scholarship, supported by the Information Systems Security Association, a non-profit, international organization of information security professionals and practitioners. The award represents the first information assurance specific scholarship at the college that represents a professional IA society.
