Information Assurance Doctorate
Capitol
announced in March the addition of a doctor of science (DSc) degree in information assurance to its academic programs, representing a new level
of academic excellence in information assurance education for the institution
and the activation of the college's strategic goal of advancing learning
opportunities to the highest level. As part of the School of Business
and Information Sciences, the doctorate program will enable professionals from
the information assurance industry to understand and evaluate the scope and
impact of systems and technology from institutional, industry and global
perspectives.
If you're
interested in becoming a doctoral student who will be able to conduct research
as a foundation for executive action, demonstrate innovation and creativity as
it relates to the strategic performance of an agency or organization, make
innovative and practical contributions to the IA body of knowledge, and apply a
local, national, and global perspective to the decision-making process at your
organization, contact us with your questions about the admissions process, degree requirements,
financial aid options, and course schedules.

Honoring Students
Each year, the
best and the brightest Capitol
College students are honored
for their hard work and dedication to their studies. On Thursday, March 25,
2010, the annual Honors Convocation
recognized dean's list students, Space Operations Institute special awards,
scholarship recipients and several academic honor society awards.
In addition,
those students awarded with scholarships and some of the college's highest
honors were recognized on Wednesday, March 30, 2010 at the annual Scholarship Appreciation Breakfast, an event welcoming all of those benefactors and
supporters behind the scholarships that not only help students pay for tuition,
but also support them as they focus their attention on achieving excellence in
their course of study. Without the generosity of all Capitol College
supporters, some students could not afford to attend college - learn how you can give back to Capitol today.
