What's Happening in Wine Country
Lots of Balloons
Balloons fighting for Space

It's time for a road trip!!  September is unquestionable the most exciting month of the year for Prosser.  Every Saturday the Farmers Market is alive with visitors, fresh produce, bread, wine and all sorts of crafts with the smell of ripening crops in the air.  The town of Prosser sees a new event every weekend culminating in the Balloon Rally and Harvest Festival the last weekend of the month.  The weather is consistently warm with sunny days and cool nights which is perfect for those early morning balloon launches.  Balloon Rally is so exciting that we are booked for at least a year in advance.  Get your name in early and you might just catch a cancellation.    There are still a few tickets left for the Chicken & Ribs BBQ on Saturday, Sept. 24th so call in now for yours.

Are you a golf addict?

Any golfer knows that golf is a very subtle game often of inches.  Many golfers spend thousands of dollars to improve their game.  Your smart phone can help!  If you want to know how far you are from the pin, let the GPS along with maps of the course calculate it for you.  If your swing has gone awry, let your smart phone help you there.  Want to know which way the green slopes, use "Bubble" to give you a level reference.  Kim Komando, the Digital Goddess, has a great reference for many useful golf apps Get those apps take your clubs out to our beautiful Black Rock Creek Golf Course and enjoy.

A New Adventure in Prosser

If you are the adventuresome type,  take a balloon ride withWine Country Balloon Tours.    You could even go way out on a limb and ask you sweetheart to marry you  while looking down on the beautiful lower Yakima Valley from your hot air balloon.  To give a birthday real pizzaz they can provide you with a 15' inflatable cake.  Reservations for this wonderful adventure are filling fast so call them today at 888-952-3040 or at info@winecountryballoontour.com

Scott & Kelly's Corner

Scott & Kelly

We went peach picking for the first time and had a blast, not to mention how sweet and yummy the reward was.   Right around the corner the apples and pumpkins will be ready for picking. This area has so many wonderful fruits and activities to enjoy.  Speaking of activities, this will also be our first year for the Balloon Rally, Harvest festival, and street painting so we are looking forward to all the fun. The wineries will also be celebrating their harvest at the 25th Annual Catch the Crush event. Who could ask for a better place to be then right here in the middle of it all.

 See you soon,

Scott & Kelly

The answer to last month's riddle was the two drivers, as racers do, wanted to race so they traded cars.  The last car to cross the finish line won.  The fastest driver would be in the other driver's car and if he crossed the finish line first, his car would be last and he would win the prize.  Grayson was the fastest subscriber to get the correct answer.

Here is this months riddle -   This is a double bonus round - 2 nights stay at Wine Country RV Park for this particularly difficult riddle.

Ten years from now Tim will be twice as old as Jane was when Mary was nine times as old as Tim.   Eight years ago, Mary was half as old as Jane will be when Jane is one year older than Tim will be at the time when Mary will be five times as old as Tim will be two years from now.   When Tim was one year old, Mary was three years older than Tim will be when Jane is three times as old as Mary was six years before the time when Jane was half as old as Tim will be when Mary will be ten years older than Mary was when Jane was one-third as old as Tim will be when Mary will be three times as old as she was when Jane was born.    HOW OLD ARE THEY NOW?

The fastest guest to email to:  WineCountry@WineCountryRVPark.com

with RIDDLE in the subject line and the correct answer to the riddle will receive a free one night stay.
