NEWSFLASH!! EpiPen® expanded PBS listing. Alphapharm is pleased to announce that the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) listing for EpiPen® has been expanded. Effective 1 July 2010 all eligible patients, regardless of age, will be entitled to 2 EpiPens with 1 prescription. This is great news for those who are 17 yea...rs or older and have previously been entitled to only 1 EpiPen. Always be sure to re-familiarise yourself with the use of your EpiPen, when you fill a new prescription, so you're prepared for when an emergency may occur. Practice with the EpiPen training device and demonstrate its use to family members, colleagues or carers. |
