Wonder how we define a high performance service testing tool?  Take a few minutes and join our Chief Architect, Jesus Rodriguez, as he talks about the Test Workbench tool with Rob Jacobs, a Senior Program Manager and WCF Evangelist with Microsoft.

In this episode, Jesus demonstrates key features such as:

  • Test visualization
  • Test work group execution
  • Load testing using strategies like Simple Rate, Linear, Burst, and Sawtooth
  • Local test projects
  • Test reports

High Performance Testing Webinar

Sure, you need to test your services to make sure they are working as planned...but what about testing them for true performance?  What about testing them for speed and performance under different load scenarios?  What about benchmarking them against other services?

Join us on April 19th from 3:00 - 4:00 Eastern for a live demonstration of how you can answer these questions with the SO-Aware Test Workbench.  Register Now!

Did You Know?

You can use the SO-Aware Test Workbench to compare the performance implications of different binding and behavior configurations.

When it comes to testing the impact that different binding and behavior configurations have on your WCF services, the elephant in the room is that while conceptually you know there are performance impacts with certain configurations, until now there has not been a way to objectively quantify what everyone instinctively understands.

In this blog post, Jesus Rodriguez demonstrates how the Test Workbench can be used to quantify the performance impact that adding security to your basic HTTP binding has on your service.  Take a look to get an idea of how to leverage the Test Workbench to validate different development approaches to improve performance.

You can load test your services in just two clicks.

Traditionally, developers avoided load testing their services because of the difficulty involved with running load tests.  The SO-Aware Test Workbench provides four different algorithms for load testing, so now load testing can be accomplished in just two clicks!

Take a look at this article to see the two clicks are all you need to execute and visualize the impact of different load testing scenarios on your WCF services.
