BIKE RIDING LIKE A KID AGAIN ALONG THE HEDGEROWS & STONE FENCES ON A BEAUTIFUL SUMMER'S DAY...

 century bike ride 2

Last week our guests Barbara & Chet Gerlach from Madison parked their car in Sturgeon Bay & biked to Ephraim for a spontaneous visit to Eagle Harbor Inn. They were making a three day bike trip of Northern Door & what intrigued me about their adventure was the fact that Barbara was renting an

ELECTRIC BIKE!

The idea struck me as one which would interest many of our guests who may feel they no longer see themselves riding bikes again, for whatever reason. In Barbara's case, she used only 1/4 of the battery's power in the 24 mile ride, and was proud of it! Knowing the battery was there with a guage to tell how much juice was left provided comfort & a personal challenge to use as little as possible. As we've told other guests about it they too are reliving the freedom felt on the open back roads of Door County!
