Charlie

It started out as a fish shack in Gills Rock serving summer visitors and for 50 years didn't even have a name! It has become one of the most famous smokehouses on the Great Lakes:  Charlie's Smokehouse keeps the family tradition alive since 1932. We can attest to the freshness of the fish as we use the smoked whitefish in an elegant display for our catered weddings. We also send gift boxes to all of our siblings who love it during their visits to Door County & appreciate serving it on their own holiday tables. Be aware that at times whitefish supplies can be limited.  Five types of smoked fish can be shipped to your family & friends:

HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM ALL OF US AT

EAGLE HARBOR INN!

'OLD  FASHIONED  INN  CHRISTMAS'

 Gingerbread Cookie

celebrates 14 years of Christmas Tradition:

Decorating gingerbread men in the Inn kitchen; Creating Birch 'Door Cones' from our Door to yours; Popcorn Stringing for the live tree & Homemade Holiday Smorgasbord all in

           the delightfully decorated Inn.

Saturday November 27, 1-3 pm.

This tradition of opening the Inn has created quite a following with locals & guests alike, forming a loyal crowd. We've seen families grow from small children with wide eyes decorating gingerbread men to grown college students & even parents themselves, with the next generation of children seeking the magic of these Christmas traditions.   Join us!

In 2011, our family will have been growing Eagle Harbor Inn for 18 years!
We have come a long way from the days of the cottage resort! We feel so fortunate to be a part of this wonderful destination of Door County as well as the tidy village of Ephraim. One of the additions we are working on for next year is a 'history wall' depicting Eagle Harbor Inn's history through the years, since its beginnings in approxmiately 1932.

We also want to let you know to expect some great new updates in the suites, with new carpeting throughout and some new furniture pieces; also an updated Iverson Room for gatherings & weddings; flat screen tv's in the Bed & Breakfast Inn with some new breakfast recipes, as well as a beautifully upgraded bedroom & bathroom in Tillie, one of the two downstairs Inn rooms. Every year we make improvements to our property but some are not as visible to guests~ like WIFI & roofs~ as other improvements! We also take your comments seriously so we make improvements or additions through-out the year to make your stay more comfortable. We thank you for continuing to choose to stay with us for your vacations!
