Inn At Kristopher's  Harvest  Moon Gourmet Wine Dinner 
with demonstration class Friday October 29th, 6:00pm. One hour is devoted to a cooking demonstration of the terrific 5 course dinner you'll enjoy in the main dining room. Learn how to wow your guests with Butternut Squash Risotto followed by shaved Fennel & DC Apple Salad, Spiced Pear Sorbet to cleanse your palate while moving to Roasted Duck in Autumnal Gratin finished in an apple pear & brandy reduction. Dessert will be Creme Brulee prepared with mulling spices. $69. per person will teach you how to accomplish this for your upcoming seasonal guests!   
Iron Pour
A return to Fall spells learning new skills: Learn the ancient art ofIron Pour casting iron! The fundamental skills will be taught from creating a mold to the pour itself. Each student will create their own pattern into which they will pour moulten iron for a permanent, sculptural project. Iron pours are not widely available and this may interest you! Call Peninsula Art School to book yourself into class. Scheduled Thursday - Sunday September 30- October 3; As always, Art School students receive a 5% discount on their stay at Eagle Harbor Inn. 
  Fresh Garlic is available now at Framer's Markets. It tastes so fresh & moist compared to store variety. See if you can find some for this versatile recipe; great as a spread, artichoke or crab cake dip!
1 cup fresh basil                                            
Garlic Dip6 fresh garlic cloves, minced 
1 large egg
1 1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice
1 cup mild virgin olive oil
Fresh chives, for garnish
In a food processor combine basil, garlic, egg & lemon juice and process until pureed. With motor running, gradually add oil through feed tube in steady stream until combined. Transfer to small bowl to serve & garnish with fresh chives. Enjoy!
