Your kingdom come...
"The kingdom both is and is not. It has begun in the life of Jesus, and it continues to spread in and through the lives of people who follow Jesus - but it has not yet come in its fullness and completeness. The world is still mostly a mess. All creation does not yet live under the rule of God. When we pray your kingdom come, we are praying for God to make his rule complete, we are praying for God to clean up the mess we have made. But, we are also praying that God's kingdom would come to and through us; we are praying that we would live faithfully under God's rule, that we would be part of the clean-up team."

Ministry Fair

It's finally here - the Ministry Fair weekend! Please plan to attend the fair either Saturday night, after eating a delicious spaghetti dinner prepared by the Senior High Youth Group or Sunday morning during the Sunday school hour beginning at 9:45am.
At the Ministry Fair, you'll receive a booklet identifying each ministry team at Peace along with it's mission, contact info, responsibilities & current recruitment needs. This information will also available online @

SARA Donations

SARA (Sexual Assault Resource Agency) serves women, children and men who have experienced sexual assault and their families and friends in Charlottesville, Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa and Nelson counties, Virginia.
It can be hard to talk about sexual violence. Many people never tell anyone and are afraid of being blamed or not believed. Often family and friends want to help but may not know what to do or say. SARA's staff and volunteers are here to listen in a caring and understanding way. They offer information and support to help survivors make decisions for their healing.
We are collecting new clothing for survivors of sexual assault when they seek medical attention at the hospital. So far we've collected over 20 pairs of underwear. We still need about 12 pairs of socks and 18 sweat pants (larger sizes with draw strings are preferred).
