The Way of Generosity

My response is to get down on my knees before the Father, this magnificent Father who parcels out all heaven and earth. I ask him to strengthen you by his Spirit-not a brute strength but a glorious inner strength-that Christ will live in you as you open the door and invite him in. And I ask him that with both feet planted firmly on love, you'll be able to take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ's love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:14-19 (The Message) We respond to God's generosity with God's generosity; that is, God provides us "with every blessing in abundance" so that we may share abundantly with others.

Fall Programming

Prayer Retreat - has been cancelled!
After all of our planning and hopes and prayer, we do not have enough participants to pull off our prayer retreat. We have decided to postpone until a less busy time of year (if that indeed exists). As soon as this retreat is rescheduled, we will let you know. We feel so called and committed to the discipline of prayer, that we will not let this fade away, however we felt it was too important, and too much effort for so few participants.
Pizza with the Pastor
This is a great way to get to know the Pastor and other staff & members of PLC.

FaithWalk
The FaithWalk course is for new attendees and people wishing to know more about membership at Peace Lutheran Church. The course provides opportunities to learn about and discuss our congregational mission, our faith traditions, our understanding of and commitment to spiritual growth, and how to discover and serve out of our God-given gifts.
When: November 5, 12 & 19, 7 - 8:30pm
Where: South Campus
Fall Fun
Come join us for a fun fall experience! There will be a pumpkin carving contest, fall games, hot apple cider and other fall treats.
When: October 26, 4 - 6pm
Hosts: Senior High Youth
Cost: $5 for the pumpkin and BYOK (bring your own carving knife)
