Simply in Season Bible Study
Join us this summer on a journey toward joy-filled, meaningful eating. Simply in Season is a study designed to help participants connect food and faith with an emphasis on the value of eating local, seasonal foods. This is a six session study with the cookbook doubling as the study guide. We will enjoy food, fellowship and faith. The goal of this journey is joy, not guilt. So if you are interested in feeding both body and spirit with nutritious food and challenging ideas about the world around us, then this is the study for you.
When:  Mondays, beginning June 9th @ 7pm (for 6 weeks)
Where:  Peace (South Campus)
Cost:  $12 to cover the cost of the book
Contact:  Jennie Carter, jenniecee@earthlink.net

FaithWalk
We invite you to our class for new attendees and prospective members.  The course is entitled FaithWalk, and it invites people on a journey to love God, love one another, to grow in Christ and to go in Christ.  This is a course that provides opportunities to learn about and discuss our congregational mission, our faith traditions, our understanding of and commitment to spiritual growth, and how to discover and serve out of our God-given gifts.
When: June 11, 18 & 19 @ 7pm
Where:  Peace (South Campus)
Contact:  Jenny Cudahy, cudahyj@msn.com
PeaceFeast I
Join us as we embrace the "Feasting" part of the Sabbath theme!  Bring your favorite summer foods and lawn chairs for a time of fellowship and outdoor games after the Saturday Service. We will also have special programs for children during the evening. Children and adults ages 6 and up will enjoy a summer evening filled with outdoor games and activities. Children 5 and under will have a special evening called "Resting in God's love" and are invited to a Teddy Bear Picnic!  They are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animal and enjoy some crafts, story time, and giggles.
When:  Saturday, June 7 @ 6:15pm
Where:  Peace
Kayaking
If you have a kayak and you'd like to join friends from Peace to explore our local waterways, plan to meet us at the church (weather permitting) on Friday, June 13th and 20th. If you don't have a kayak, but want to try it out, we may one you can borrow.

RSVP to Pastor John at johndherman@comcast.net to get final times and other information.
Signposts of God's Love
It's that time of year again when Peace starts planning for our annual Yard & Bake Sale.  The date is Saturday, August 9th and the time is 8:00 - 12:00.  The proceeds from our sale go to our Adopt-A-Family Program which is supplemented by funds from Thrivent.  The Adopt-A-Family program provides food, clothing and gifts at  Christmas-time for local families in need.

Stay tuned for more details.
