Not Your Average Pumpkin!

Are you ready for some Halloween fun? Here's a chance for you to learn a new skill to use year after year, teach your kids and impress your friends. Decorating pumpkins doesn't have to be the typical toothy smile or toothy frown anymore. We will show the pumpkin skinning technique to you as well as ideas about how to use Christmas lights as a creative alternative to candles or the old stand-by, a 60 watt light bulb. You can even combine both techniques on each pumpkin, if you'd like.

Give us a call at 269-345-1195 to sign up. Class will be held here at the garden center tomorrow evening, October 18, beginning at 6:00 p.m. The price is $35.00 and for that fee you will create two unique pumpkins that all of your guests will admire. (There is a $5.00 additional charge if you choose battery operated lights.) Everything is included for this fun project which is for ages 10 and up. Looking for a special evening with your little one? What fun they, AND you, will have! Or, come solo and treat them to the tricks you learn here! Also included is a very tasty supper featuring white chicken chili, cornbread and pumpkin cobbler!

Give us a call! We know you'll have a great time.

Occasionally we publish an Extra Edition of Wedel's News. If there is something we learn of that you should know or we think you would appreciate hearing about, you will receive a special copy of the newsletter.

Halloween is almost here and here is your chance to do something a little different. Pumpkin carving is an old tradition and, for a long time, our choices were to make a smiling Jack-o-lantern or a frowning one. All of that has changed. We'll show you how to let your imagination run wild and create something memorable. Call us to sign up for this design-n-dine event, have a great time and plan to snap some photos of your creations with the little goblins who come to visit this year. Fun memories all around!

See you soon!
