  Note from the Editor

Occasionally we publish an Extra Edition of Wedel's News. If there is something we learn of that you should know or we think you would appreciate hearing about, you will receive a special copy of the newsletter. Roger Taylor, our birding expert and weather aficionado, wants to be sure you are aware of the fact that there has been a frost advisory issued for our area for tonight. It is getting to be that time of year...

If you want to extend the season for your plants that are suseptible to cold temperatures and frost, consider covering them before tonight. Use an old sheet, light-weight blanket, canvas, fabric or row cover but not plastic or a tarp. You can even use newspapers held in place with stones. If your plants are potted, move them under the eaves of your house or into your garage for the night.

'Til next time...
Jim
