Ah...talk about births! This is the biggest and best birth of all!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!
We are now 232 years old!...and I thought turning 41 last week was old...now I don't feel so old...hehe! For most Americans, the Fourth of July is a time for celebration, food, fun and fireworks. The CPSC (see below) reported that in 2007, nearly 10,000 Americans were treated in Emergency rooms for firework-related injuries (mostly burns). Please be careful! Adults, always supervise firework fun. Never allow young children to play or ignite fireworks. Many injuries occur from sparklers to children under five. Sparklers can burn at temperatures of about 2,000+ degrees. Keep a bucket of water or a garden hose handy in case of fire or other mishap. PLEASE KEEP AN EYE on the TODDLERS & CHILDREN! ...and Happy 4th of July to all!

As a Personal Childbirth Trainer, she has enjoyed guiding 172 couples through the birth process. In addition, she has helped 3 other nurses start their own businesses teaching the PCT Childbirth Workshop in Washington, D.C. and Florida!
When she isn't working (when is this???) she can usually be found spinning at a gym or sipping green iced-tea at Starbucks!
