On Saturday, the KWoods Cross Country team competed at Regionals in New Boston at Willow Metropark. The Boys team finished 6^th in the region, out of 17 teams.  Huge congratulations also go to Dave Doyle who finished 10th in the region and qualified for the State Cross Country Meet at Michigan International Speedway on Saturday.

Finishing 1^st for the Bears on the Boys side and 10^th overall was Dave Doyle in a time of 18:44. Second for the Bears and 42^nd overall was Jacob Honey in a time of 21:19. Next was Marcos Franck, 48^th overall, in a time of 21:58. 4^th for the Bears, narrowly beating out Dean Bradbury was Mark Siminski, 55^th overall in a time of 23:46. In 56^th place was Dean Bradbury, also in a time of 23:46, setting a PR for the season.

On the girls side, Eryca Cottle finished first for the Bears and 36^th overall in a time of 26:55. Finishing next was Carly Niedwiecki, 38^th overall, in a time of 27:16. Rounding out the Bears and meeting her season goal and setting a PR was Krystal Franck in 44^th in a time of 31:48.
