Kensington Woods High School
Welcome Back!
Dear KWHS families,

It is an honor to welcome you all to another exciting year at Kensington Woods High School.  While you and your children have been enjoying these last days of summer vacation, the KWoods faculty has been busy here at school preparing for our new year.  All of the teachers reported back last week and we have had jam packed days of professional development, collaborative planning time and staff meetings.  I'm happy to announce that we are all ready and very excited to greet the students upon their return to school next week.
There are several items of information concerning the start of school that I mailed out a few weeks ago and am providing links to here as well.  Please make sure you are familiar with the information in these letters.

Day School Start of Year Letter
FlexTrac Start of Year Letter
Kensington Woods Policy Reference Sheet

Our e-newsletter is our main method of communication with our families about important KWoods information and events throughout the year so please read each addition that is sent to your email.  We send these e-newsletters every week.

Thank you for choosing Kensington Woods High School, I am looking forward to a rewarding year of seeing our students learn, grow and achieve their goals.

Best regards,

Jim Perry
Principal

KWHS Alumni Updates
As KWHS graduates begin their college careers, it is our goal to stay connected with them so that they can share their experiences and pass along their wisdom to our current students.  We know that KWHS alumni represent a great resource to our students and can provide them with a student perspective on how to make a successful transition from high school to college.  We are in the process of creating a list of KWHS Alumni Contacts and encourage our students to correspond directly with one another to find out information about specific schools, programs and the general college experience.  In addition, we plan to hold a KWHS Alumni Day where we invite several alumni back to our school to make a panel presentation and hold a question and answer session.  Alumni are always encouraged to contact Mrs. Pollman if they would like to be included in our contact list, alumni updates or visitation days.  We look forward to sharing the exciting things that many of our alumni are doing, so be sure to check out future updates throughout the school year!
