If you need to apply lot codes, Batch Numbers, Expiration Dates, Best By Information etc on non porous packaging, CIJ is the only way to go.
Materials like Poly Films, Foil, Poly Tubs and Trays, Glass, Aluminum Cans etc are all non porous and most other forms of marking are prone to coming off.
