June 13th The 3rd Sunday after Pentecost (Proper 6)
Keep, O Lord, your household the Church in your
steadfast faith and love, that through your grace we may proclaim your
truth with boldness, and minister your justice with compassion; for the
sake of our Savior Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the
Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

8am: Holy EucharistOur early service is unaccompanied by music and usually lasts about 50 minutes. Coffee and fellowship are offered before the service begins in the parish hall, while the sanctuary is available for quiet prayer. Another coffee hour follows the service.
10am: Holy Eucharist
Our late morning service is accompanied during the summer by organ music and congregational singing, along with an informal Taize singing group that offers chant during Communion and rehearses briefly following the service. Nursery care is available for our youngest members and guests. A festive coffee hour for children and adults follows the Eucharist.

Knitting
Ministry meets:
Monday, June 21st at 6 pm at the Argus Manor, in the
recreation
building. The address is 204 9th Ave. SE., Puyallup. This is
the
complex right after the Regency Retirement Home, catty corner from
Cattin's
Restaurant. You must now park on the street, there is no parking inside
the
complex. We look forward to seeing members as well as anyone else
wishing to
join us in this ministry.
Youth
Canoe Trip:There
will be a youth canoe/ kayak trip on Lake Washington on Saturday 26
June. All
ages are invited. Food will be served and canoes will be provided. We
will also
be needing chaperones to help drive to the lake and help paddle. Please
contact

or Fr. Ben if you are interested.

General Announcements
"A Report of Mission and Resources '09 of The
Episcopal Church," focusing on the mission and programs of the Church
Center,
is now available online at: http://episcopalchurch.org/annualreport2009.htm The online Annual Report
details the work accomplished
through the Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society (DFMS) budget
throughout
2009. The Annual Report is introduced by Presiding Bishop Katharine
Jefferts Schori
and divided into three main areas: Organizational Updates, Financial
Reports,
and Multimedia.
At last Sunday's Altar Party Training, several handouts were available: instruction on ringing the Sanctus Bell, Helps for bidding the Psalm, and a step-by-step guide to serving at the altar. These are all available in the altar area for Sunday use. If you would like an electronic copy of any of those handouts, simply respond to this email with your request. Likewise, any feedback on making them better would be appreciated.
June is 'Juice, Bottled Water, and Healthy Snacks Month' at the Food Bank. Thank you for your generosity!
