Purify our conscience, Almighty God, by your

in us a mansion prepared for himself; who lives and reigns with you, in

Luke 1:39-45, (46-55) 8am: Holy Eucharist
Our early service is unaccompanied by music and usually lasts about 50 minutes. Coffee and fellowship are offered before the service begins in the parish hall, while the sanctuary is available for quiet prayer. Another coffee hour follows the service.
9am: Sunday School
In addition to Nursery care for children under three, there are two classrooms of Godly Play offered from pre-school through 2nd grade. 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders are invited to their own classroom where they'll study the Episcopal Prayerbook and Catechism in a pre-confirmation type class. One the first Sunday of most months, a special Children's Chapel event is offered for all kids. This year is brand new for us, so come early (or stay late of you're an eight O'clocker) and join us!
10am: Holy Eucharist
Our late morning service is accompanied by organ music, congregational singing, and the offerings of our adult mixed choir. On the first, and occasionally second, Sunday of each month, Soul Purpose, our contemporary music band, accompanies the liturgy. Nursery care is available for our youngest members and guests. A festive coffee hour for children and adults follows the Eucharist.
Christmas Pageant Rehearsal
Immediately following the service, all children interested in participating in this year's Christmas Pageant are invited to gather in the front of the church for a rehearsal.

Upcoming Events
Youth Cafe meets tonight!, December 18th. Our usual last-Friday-of-the-month meeting date is inconveniently occupied by another holiday this month, so we'll be meeting a week early. All Middle School and High School youth are welcome!
The Knitting Ministry is meeting on Monday, December 21st at 6pm, at the Argus Manor recreation building: 204 9th Ave. SE, Puyallup.
Our Christmas Worship services are at 4:00pm and 10:30pm on Thursday, December 24th, and 10:00am on Friday, December 25th.
The Church Office will be closed the week following Christmas.
General Announcements
There are some free Advent materials on the table by the name tag board. Help yourself!
All children interested in participating in the annual Christmas Pageant are invited to attend rehearsal this Sunday, immediately following the 10:00am Eucharist.
December is 'Baby Food, Formula, and Diapers Month' for the Food Bank. Thank you for your generosity!

A Note From Sunday School

Merry Christmas!
WOW! It is hard to believe we are so close to Christmas. Just
a reminder that we have been working on collecting hats, scarves,
gloves and socks for the homeless. We will be inviting the congregation
to join us in collecting these items on Christmas Eve. All of these
items will go to the homeless here in Puyallup. The children have also
been making ornaments for the Jesse Tree; these may be taken home after
the Christmas Eve Service. The tree will be downstairs this Sunday and
on Christmas Eve to share with the congregation. We
have been having a great time learning about Advent and the coming of
Our Lord and Savior. In January we will be learning about Epiphany,
the Great Exodus and the Ten Commandments. There will be a two week break in Sunday school 12/27 and 1/3/2010 - 2010 wow that sounds funny.
