A woman goes into Wal-mart to buy a rod and reel. She doesn't know which one to get, so she just grabs one and goes over to the register. There is a Wal-mart associate standing there with dark glasses on. She asks, "Excuse me sir. Can you tell me anything about this rod and reel?" He says, "Ma'am I'm blind, but if you drop it on the counter I can tell you everything you need to know about it from the sound that it makes." She didn't believe him, but dropped it all on the counter anyway...

LETTER TO THE EDITOR
I wish to expresss a hardy thank you to First Light.. The prize awarded me as the first, first place winner of the cartoon caption contest was awesome!
I am thrilled to advise that the prize has been used to provide me with some great footwear and a couple, much needed, canvas shirts. (My favourite for the cold winter chills as the wind whips accross the ice.) Thanks to you my butt will stay warm and dry on those not so kind blustery Febuary days. The site seems to be growing nicely and I return frequently (and will continue to) to see whats new. Always interesting and a few of the sponsor and sister links are filled with great information.
In closing might I wish all you a super year of fishing and that all your casts be a mile long and all your strikes be monsters.
