TWO NEW SPECIAL TEACHERS
AT BALTIMORE YOGA VILLAGE
Marley Keller (E-RYT 500) will begin teaching Tuesday mornings in Mt. Washington 9:30 - 10:45 am, a regular drop in class. Classes begin December 21st! Marley's background in dance for over 20 years greatly informs her yoga practice as does her experience at Goucher College, where she studied Eastern and Western psychology, Labanotation, movement analysis, Skinner Releasing Technique, and Bartenieff Fundamentals-all of which help inform her yoga practice today. She has 200 hr certifications from Kripalu and Golden Heart Yoga as well as a 500 hr certification from Golden Heart with certified Anusara Instructor Jenny Otto. It was here that she had the opportunity to study with some extremely talented yoga masters including Rod Stryker, Victor Van Kooten, and Arthur Kilmurray. BYV extends a warm welcome to Marley! Becca Klein will begin teaching Thursday nights in Hampden. 7:45 - 9 pm, a regular drop in class. Classes will begin after the New Year!
Becca finds yoga to be an ideal medium to engage the mind and body in discovering and honoring one's truest Self. For over 10 years she has been studying many styles of yoga. She took her first Anusara Yoga class with Moses Brown in 2005 and was hooked. She was drawn to Anusara Yoga's life-affirming Tantric philosophy of intrinsic goodness and the clear instruction and alignment principles it offers to cultivate a radical shift toward knowing and expressing oneself fully. After completing some other life-goals (a 4-month trip through South America and a Masters degree in Food Policy), and settling into Baltimore, she completed the Teacher Training Program at Willow Street Yoga. Becca's classes focus on being present and authentic on the yoga mat in order to do the same in life-and, most importantly, having fun while doing so! |
