June is Men's Health Month

Not only does June signal the start of summer and Father's Day, but it also signals the importance of focusing some time on men's health issues.

Employee Health & Fitness Month

The month of May is recognized as Employee Health & Fitness Month ("EHFM") across the country and is dedicated to promoting health and fitness in the workplace. Established by two non-profit organizations, the National Association for Health & Fitness and ACTIVE Life, EHFM educates employers and their employees about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. Promotion is done through worksite healthy activities such as groups promoting healthy eating, activities, and projects. The goal of EHFM is to help workplaces and employees establish healthy behavior changes.
