Protect Your Employees in Japan

Over the past few weeks, Affiliated Physicians has been successful in purchasing and sending Potassium Iodide ("KI")

to Japan for multiple global corporations.

KI works by blocking radioactive iodine from entering the thyroid. When a person takes KI, the stable iodine in the medicine gets absorbed by the thyroid so that it cannot absorb any iodine, either stable or radioactive.

Japan has been struggling for more than three weeks to stabilize a nuclear plant hit by a massive earthquake and tsunami. With fears of nuclear radiation, many corporations have taken the proactive step of sending KI to their offices in Japan.

May is National High Blood Pressure Education Month

Though May is still weeks away, now is the perfect time to begin educating your employees about the risks of high blood pressure.
