Have you ever taken one of Barb's classes? If so, then you know that it's about learning techniques, but about more than that, as well.
You get to play with supplies. You get to see what appeals to you. You get to do it YOUR WAY. But through it all is Barb's wise counsel as to how to make the art go deeper and wider with more color and more texture and more soul. You'll come away with a new understanding of how to use art materials to express your unique way of seeing the world.
Coming up are three classes, one on Stick Dolls (September 29 - 30), one on the process of making a Creative Journey Game (October 19 - 21) and one on Visual Journaling (Nov. 3 - 4).

A River of Blessings
It has been an incredibly busy summer. In the midst of it our little treehouse that was behind the garage at Maureen's ended up in the river. Pulling that back up the river bank wasn't how Dan planned to spend a hot week in mid-July. Maureen sympathized, but she was prepping for a trip to Cincinnati to work on a new series of Kids' Books (more info to come in early 2013) so she brought food periodically and then went back to the studio. Amidst the swirl of activity - much of it unplanned and unexpected - that is life here at Weefolk and at Maureen's, the Storykeeper Pattern got delayed ... and hasn't quite risen to the top of the pile again. But it's coming! It all made for some good stories. And, when we think about it, stories are sometimes the best part of life ... the savoring, the remembering, the sharing. We plan to continue to do both.
We also look forward to hearing more of yours. Have any of you used the new mold Mold F7 that goes with that pattern? How did you use it? What did you make?
