A word from Maureen ...
Letting Go
I've been told that It's time to let go of clutter and those things that no longer serve me well.
Have to do that, they say, in order to make room for new ideas and an even greater good.
Must be true, as people write books about it and they get on best-seller lists.
Everyone admires the woman who has her things in order and her windows clean.
Wonder, though, if there isn't room for a little mess?
I like the tumble of the rocks upon the river bank and I see the beauty in the frozen Zinnia heads that lean upon the garden path.
The forest swept bare of all it's fallen trees would leave no cover for afternoon lovers and no shelter for the hunted beasts.
The mixed-media sculpture, pictured here, is titled Letting Go. |
