The Creative Journey Game:
Creating Your Field of dreams for 2010

Class Description:

The Creative Journey GameŠ is a creative, playful process of self-discovery and insight.  You design your game board and personal game pieces as you play the game. This creative game process, based on "The Hero's Journey", can help open doors to self knowledge and understanding, help you to see patterns, and move you through your life adventure of discovery and awareness.

During this November weekend retreat you will create a collaged Field of Dreams Game board and three-dimensional characters to use to visualize your intentions, goals and dreams for 2010.

The idea behind this is that when you surround yourself with images of who you want to become, what you want to happen, where you want to live or vacation, your life changes to match those images and desires. They add clarity to your desires and energy to your visions.

A word from Maureen ...

Letting Go
Letting Go

I've been told that It's time to let go of clutter and those things that no longer serve me well.

Have to do that, they say, in order to make room for new ideas and an even greater good.

Must be true, as people write books about it and they get on best-seller lists.

Everyone admires the woman who has her things in order and her windows clean.

Wonder, though, if there isn't room for a little mess?

I like the tumble of the rocks upon the river bank and I see the beauty in the frozen Zinnia heads that lean upon the garden path.

The forest swept bare of all it's fallen trees would leave no cover for afternoon lovers and no shelter for the hunted beasts.

The mixed-media sculpture, pictured here, is titled Letting Go.
