A word from Maureen ...
Seems as if we have lots of irons in the fire these days. As I write these words I have an image of a troop of Wee Folk, in their many-leafed hats, worn green leggings and tight-leather vests scurrying across the tables to keep all the irons hot and ready, making nary a noise as they do so, but leaving whiffs of burnt grass and secondary beans, tinkling laughter and nonsense syllables, in the air around me. Makes me grin. I can also imagine Renee and Jessi wiping their brows in relief that I'm not making THEM wear the aforementioned costumes as they do their important jobs of cleaning and organizing and keeping the Center in Jordan in working order!
As you can tell by this newsletter, we keep adding new products to things that we offer. The two latest categories are Dan's Pet Stones and my Angel Folk. They may seem disconnected and you may wonder how one newsletter can encompass all these different avenues, but there is a connection. Both the master sculpture for the Angel Folk and the mold master for Dan's stepping stones were first sculpted in polymer clay. That part of our business, the use of polymer clay, has stayed consistent for 30 years now, since 1979 when Dan first brought home FIMO from the miniature store and suggested that I use it. Who could have predicted what a magic carpet ride that little block of clay would prove to be!
