Early Childhood Education
Did you know ...only 52% of children in Olmsted County start Kindergarten with the developmental milestones needed to be ready to successfully learn?
That's why...United Way works with a collaboration of early childhood education experts who know how to get children prepared for school success at a rate of 85%.
Which means...research shows that children who get a good start with early education opportunities attain a higher level of education, income, socio-economic status and better health. An economic analysis by the Federal Reserve Bank estimated that every $1 invested in early childhood education generates up to $17 in benefits to society at large.
