Greetings from the State Coordinator
Greetings!
Happy New Year! If you are like me, you are entering the busy time of the year for History Day. I imagine that you are all working on your research and beginning to put your projects together.
It's also time to register for the regional level of competition. Most regions require you to download a registration form from our web site. If you are in the New York City, Capital or Central New York regions, you will register using our online system. Visit our web site at http://www.nyshistoryday.org/RegionRegistrationForms.htm to find everything you need to register for the contest. Although the deadlines are in February, I encourage you to register early.
As always, remember that I am here to answer your questions about the project categories, contest rules and contest structure and judging. If you have a question about your regional contest, I would recommend that you contact your regional coordinator directly. You can find your regional coordinator's contact information here: http://www.nyshistoryday.org/RegionalInfo.htm
Best wishes,
