"The challenge for modern couples lies in reconciling the need for what's safe and predictable with the wish to pursue what's exciting, mysterious, and awe-inspiring."

 February 2011

Love, intimacy, sex. These words can  be wondrous and exhilarating or they can make you run for the hills. For many couples, infatuation can turn to complacency and avoidance - and satisfying intimacy seems far, far away.
When counseling couples, my immediate goals are to help them access their strengths and increase their problem solving skills so they can move into the intimacy they long for.

Please consider:
How do you problem solve in your own relationship - is it in a cooperative fashion where there is genuine striving for a win-win?
How much do you listen to learn/grow from each other?
Does your relationship feel creative, active, alive - despite being imperfect?

Perhaps most important, is your relationship built on the truth of who you both really are?

Romantic partnership is a truly creative process! As freely engaging adults, you and your partners get to sculpt the kind of love and life you desire. It is one of the many joys of being an adult.

For couples feeling stuck, one or both partners may not have liberated themselves to the task of loving as a free, mature adult.  Often times just a few new skills and reality/perception checking are needed.

I have had over 20 years working with people on issues of: communication, intimacy, infidelity, polyamory, passion, and
commitment. My approach is direct, no-nonsense, short-term and supportive.

Please attend one of my workshops or set up a consultation at a mutually convenient  time. I look forward to it.

Namaste,
Jackie
