We're getting certified.
We are very excited to announce that we have begun the process of becoming FSC certified. FSC is an independant, non-governmental, not for profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world's forests. It provides standard setting, trademark assurance and accreditation services for companies and organizations interested in responsible forestry. Products carrying the FSC label are independently certified to assure consumers that they come from forests that are managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations.
We're recycling.
CMS recycles an average of 40,000 lbs of paper and cardboard each month.

We own two iGen3 production presses, which remain unchallenged as the industry's most green machines.

CMS uses the internet and e-mail to deliver soft-proofs to our clients therefore; helping reduce paper usage, saving phone, courier and postage charges, reducing the environmental impact of sending paper by air or ground transportation, and enabling more rapid turn-around of print jobs.

NCOAlink is a method of address updating developed by the United States Postal Service to reduce waste. It is estimated that 8% of all mail is undeliverable because of incorrect addresses. 18-20% of the US population changes their address each year, but their old address will remain on various mailing lists. NCOAlink updates these addresses increasing the accuracy of the Postal System and reducing literally tons of waste. |
