Growing Stronger for the Future Remains a Major Focus On the news, all we hear are bad economic stories. Times are tough without a doubt. But at CMS we continue to focus on the future and are working hard to help our clients grow their businesses for tomorrow. One of the best ways to make sure we are helping our clients is by making sure we continue to add talented individuals to our team.
Most notably, in August CMS has hired Don Mullen as a new National Account Sales Executive. Don's responsibilities will be to seek out companies that could benefit from a relationship with CMS and then to nurture those opportunities into real "win/win" results. Don comes to us with a background in the sales and servicing of major national contracts. While Don may not be asked to work directly on your account, his addition to the team has already added strength to the overall organization. Third Shift Operation Begins with Digital Print Production This summer, demand on CMS' digital print services has created a need for expanded hours of production. Our professionally trained staff has now added a shift to allow for around the clock production on our two Xerox iGen3 Digital Presses. As a result of the expanded service hours, CMS is better able to manage our combination of daily print-on-demand orders with more traditional print and mail production. The net result is improved turnaround times for all clients and new capacity for growth. Mailing & Fulfillment Services Association Announces CMS is a Part of Their Conference Agenda The international trade association representing companies like Creative Marketing Solutions has announced that CMS will play a major role in their upcoming Management Conference in Charlotte, NC. Conference organizers have requested that CMS allow attendees of the event to visit and tour our facility as part of the education being offered at the conference. CMS' Controller, Patti Hayden will also be speaking at the conference as part of the Financial Management curriculum.

Over two months ago CMS set out to begin a new endeavor and we are proud to announce that it is off to an exciting start. Various inspirations have led to the creation of a group of our employees called Creative Acts. "Our purpose is simply to help out fellow co-workers." The group gets together at least once a month to complete a project that was requested by a colleague. So far Creative Acts has started a company food bank, and provided PB&J sandwiches in the break room for over a month. We have also laughed together while helping paint a coworkers living room/kitchen, and most recently we washed windows for a colleague's 80-year-old loved one. Would you like to join us this month? We are participating in The Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk at Winthrop University on September 13. Click the icon below to join our team.
