Greetings!
Summer is here, and we hope you're keeping cool. Join us next Tuesday evening for Artist Talks at Aljira in Newark. Our Summer Fiesta was a huge success, and we want to thank everyone that attended, contributed, donated and brought friends along. Photos posted on our Blog. Thanks to YOUR support, we met the match required to receive a $10,000 from the Lily Auchincloss Foundation! In other funding news - we are so happy to announce we have been awarded a two-year grant from the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts as well - so keep an eye out for even more excellent programming this year! In other news - our New Works #15 exhibition opens this week at CEPA Gallery in Buffalo, NY... and the deadline for submissions for New Works #16 is around the corner! We're also seeking submission for our Touring Gallery Community Exhibitions program - see below for details. We've had a few staff changes as well. We're sad to see Hilary go, but appreciate everything she's done to keep the ship afloat over the past several years & wish her the best as she finishes up her Masters degree. Dee is now working full-time at ICP running their Teen Academy, and still caring for our Touring Gallery program. We are excited to welcome a new member to our staff--Program Associate Hanifa Haris; and officially welcome our intern Dani Cattan to the position of Program Assistant!
