Greetings!

Since nurturing artists is practically our middle name, we are proud to announce that our Program Director Marisol Díaz is now pursuing her own photographic dreams and goals - yet sad that she is leaving En Foco. Please join me in wishing her all the suerte in the world, as she embarks on a new artistic venture. She has done so much to help nurture and promote the work of others over the past 11 years at En Foco, we look forward to supporting her new endeavors.

The new face you'll see in the office is Hilary Thorsen, our new Program Associate - welcome Hilary!

For those of you seeking opportunities, don't forget our annual New Works deadline is on July 31st! If you need a little motivation to apply, come by Calumet Photographic before July 22 and see this year's winners.

Since summer is synonymous with getting together with friends, we're throwing a party! Our Summer Fiesta Benefit will take place at Calumet on Wednesday, July 14th. It's part fundraiser, and part excuse to hang out with all of you, so I hope you can all make it. Those of you that live afar, you can also help keep our programs strong by making a Donation instead - any amount is welcome!
