Marisol Díaz, En Foco's Program Director, is a recipient of this year's BRIO (Bronx Recognizes Its Own) Individual Artist Fellowship in Photography, awarded by the Bronx Council on the Arts.

Congrats also goes to Ron Terner (Focal Point Gallery), honoree Ed Friedman (BCA) and all the winners!

New Works #11 Deadline Approaches

 En Foco's Photography Awards is an annual program open to American photographers of African, Asian, Latino/a, Native American and Pacific Islander heritage. The goal is to create or complete an in-depth photographic series which explores themes emanating from personal experiences. Three photographers will be selected from a national call for entries to receive:
  • An honorarium of $600 plus exhibition prep stipend
  • Photographic supplies (varies according to funding year)
  • Technical assistance
  • A photographer's page on www.enfoco.org
  • and a group exhibition in New York City.
