concert as part of Chelsea's Hometown Holiday celebration.
Join us for music, refreshments and good cheer to kick off a
great Chelsea tradition.

Tween and Teen Homemade Gifts
for the Holidays 

     

GiftboxNeed a present for a friend or family member? Who doesn't like a homemade gift? Make your own holiday presents in the library! What we'll be making is a surprise, but we'll make it and wrap it during the workshop. Parents, this would be a great time for you to go shopping downtown, while your children make you a present. All supplies provided.

Community Foundation for Southeastern Michigan  

 

Support the Chelsea District Library and receive tax credit.

Reduce your Michigan Income Tax or Michigan Business Tax with a credit for contributions to the Chelsea District Library endowment fund at the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan.

 

The State of Michigan is offering a special Community Foundation Tax Credit for charitable gifts to the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan, available through the end of the year, December 31, 2011. Michigan law permits individuals and businesses to reduce Michigan Income Tax or Michigan Business Tax, by a credit of 50 percent of the amount contributed to the Community Foundation provided the contribution is designated for permanent endowment.

Friends of Chelsea District Library Eco-Friendly Book BagRemember to bring your own reusable bag to the library. To save money and to reduce the use of plastic, we have stopped providing plastic bags.
 
If you forget to bring a bag, the Friends of Chelsea District Library have eco-friendly bags for sale. Purchase one bag for $9 or two bags for $15, available at the Check Out Desk.
