Grant Will Help Promote a Healthy Chelsea

Chelsea Reads Together Chelsea Reads Together just received a $5,000 mini-grant from the  Chelsea Area Wellness Foundation

These funds will make it possible for us to give away yet MORE copies of The Blue Zones, by Dan Buettner, create fun activities for kids and families and  host events like cooking demonstrations based on Blue Zones regional cuisines.

Many, many thanks to the Chelsea Area Wellness Foundation for their support of Chelsea Reads Together!

Chelsea Reads Together aims to bring community members together in dialogue on the topic of wellness.  By inviting our entire community to read the same book, we create a common starting place for us all to begin the process of becoming a healthier, more active and better connected community.

Chelsea Reads Together is a partnership between the Chelsea District Library, the Chelsea-Area Wellness Foundation and the Chelsea School District.
