How do you get a best-selling author to visit Chelsea?

Read his book!

This year's Chelsea Reads Together book is The Blue Zones by Dan Buettner. We ordered multiple copies and placed them around town with the hope of people reading, signing and sharing the book. (Yes, we WANT you to write in this book!) This week we received a call from Dan Buettner's representative letting us know  he's really excited about The Blue Zones being Chelsea Reads Together's community read and is interested in making a visit if we can get a significant number of people to read the book.

So, we've created a (really) short survey to find out: Did you read The Blue Zones? If so, where did you find the book? If not, do you plan on reading it? Click on the image below to take the survey.
Thank you!

Have you read "The Blue Zones"?

Chelsea Reads Together is a partnership between the Chelsea District Library and the Chelsea-Area Wellness Foundation with the goal of bringing the community together in dialogue on the topic of wellness. By inviting our entire community to read the same book, we create a common starting place for us all to begin the process of becoming a healthier, more active and better connected community.

Chelsea Reads Together kicks off Sunday, October 2 at 2pm in the library's McKune Room.
