Emily Meloche is about to complete her first year of working behind the circulation desk and just beginning internships with both the Adult and Youth departments. When Emily was in high school, she worked shelving books for the Chelsea District Library, and still steps in for shelvers from time to time. She has a BA from Kalamazoo College in English and is halfway through her Masters Degree at University of Michigan's School of Information. She has also worked in circulation and Inter-Library Loans at the Kalamazoo College Library. As if she weren't busy enough, Emily is also on a mission to review every book, movie, TV show, album, article and podcast promoted in The Daily Show's 2010 interviews on her blog, The Daily Shill. American Red Cross Blood Drive
 The library will be hosting its next American Red Cross Blood Drive on:Tuesday, June 7 from 1:00-7:00pm in the McKune Room. Register at the 2nd level Information Desk or by calling (734) 475-8732 x 219. See below for eligibility requirements and what to expect when donating blood.

Collection Spotlight: The Modern Scholar

About Us
The Chelsea District Library is nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide equal access to quality resources that serve the lifelong cultural, educational and informational needs and interests of all people. The Library currently serves 14,000 residents in the Chelsea district - City of Chelsea plus Dexter, Lima, Lyndon and Sylvan townships and more than 20,000 individuals visit the Library each month.
