Artist-in-Residence Jerzy Drozd to Speak at Ignite Chelsea & Ignite 5 Ann Arbor!
 We are pleased to announce that Artist-in-Residence Jerzy Drozd has been selected to speak at Ignite Chelsea on February 11 and Ignite Ann Arbor on February 9 at 7:00pm. He'll be doing a presentation entitled Comics Are Great! where he'll highlight reasons why he believes this to be true, as well as some ways he has used comics in the classrooms to deepen students' reading comprehension. He'll, of course, be mentioning his work with Kids Read Comics there! Congratulations, Jerzy!

The Chelsea District Library is nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide equal access to quality resources that serve the lifelong cultural, educational and informational needs and interests of all people. The Library currently serves 14,000 residents in the Chelsea district - City of Chelsea plus Dexter, Lima, Lyndon and Sylvan townships and more than 20,000 individuals visit the Library each month.
