Check Out a Kill-A-Watt
Learn which appliances are costing you the most!

 

kill_a_wattThe Library is now loaning Kill-A-Watt energy meters and thermal leak detectors to help you learn which appliances use the most energy so you can reduce waste and save money. 



The thermal leak detectors can tell you where your home is losing heat and show you places that need added insulation or reinforcement to cut down your heating bill.


You can find these new items on display on the 2nd floor. 

Click the image above and view a video introduction to how to use the Kill-A-Watt and calculate your energy savings with the information you gather.  This equipment that you can borrow FREE from the Library, you can get started completing your own Home Energy Audit and start saving money and energy!

Critics Corner : The Lovely Bones

Teen Read WeekCelebrate Teen Read Week (October 17 - 23) with a late-night library party! There will be live music, DJ and dancing and a separate gaming room! Pizza will be served. Teens must register at least 24 hours in advance to be admitted. And once you're in, you stay in! Register now!
