Join the Friends of the Library for their monthly meeting to discuss the book sale and library support. Public is cordially invited.

Join Guy Sanville, Artistic Director of thePurple Rose Theater Company (PRTC), for a series of lectures hosted at the Chelsea District Library. The upcoming lecture, Actors on Acting will feature PRTC resident and associate artists. The panelists will share their experiences acting in new plays and answer questions about working in the industry. Register now!

There are still a number of spots open for next week's blood drive. If you are healthy (feeling well, able to perform normal tasks, and have any chronic conditions treated and under control), at least 17 years old and 110 lbs or more, then we need your help.

* different types of life-saving donations
* why the need is so great
* tips for ensuring a successful visit
* special information for first time donors
* help for potential donors who with a fear of needles.

There are so many reasons to give, but we'll add on one more: a free Chelsea District Library coffee mug to each donor.
