Mission Statement:
Helping needy students and others cross the digital divide by making home computing available to them.
The "4" Goals of Computers 4 Students:
- Break down economic barriers to computing.
- Overcome social and cultural barriers to computing.
- Put quality surplus equipment back to work.
- Make home computers available to needy students and trainees.
Founded in 2000, Computers4students.us (C4S) objective is to assist the economically and societally disadvantage in overcoming the digital divide. C4S is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization strategically located in the Columbia Pike corridor of South, Arlington Virginia. C4S provides computer hardware and software to low-income students and families. The organization's approach has been to accept donated computers, refurbish and distribute them through partnerships to public schools, churches, and many community based organizations who also assist C4S in identifying those in need. In 2005 The DC Salsa Network instituted an annual fundraising drive for the purpose of awarding scholarships to qualified Latino students entering college. YesOn2salsa Learn 2 Dance studio would like to invite you to stop by and visit us. A curriculum of classes have been established to bring quality dance training and arts education to the Arlington community, Virginia, Maryland and DC especializing in the art of dancing. Our class programs cultivate self-esteem, discipline and the drive for excellence to develop creativity on any dance floor for all age groups.
Instructors, Karen Aguilar, Orlando Machuca and Ronald Rios plan to make your dancing experience fun and enjoyable. A variety of dance classes from Salsa, Mambo, Merengue, Cha-Cha, Rumba and Hip-hop are available to introduce you to the world of dance. |
