 Tim Coursey, 1989 Executive Director Madison County Economic Development Authority Tim Coursey is currently the Executive Director at the Madison County Economic Development Authority in Madison County, Miss. He received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Southern Miss. He holds an undergraduate degree in City and Regional Planning and master's degree in Economic Development. A native of Biloxi, Miss., Coursey is married to Lisa and they have two daughters, Samantha (15 years old) and Victoria (6 years old).  Enterprising States 2012 takes a comprehensive look at how the states in the U.S. are creating an environment in which the private sector can thrive. Mississippi placed #5 for export growth and export intensity growth, 8th in cost of living, 9th is growth in share of national exports and 11th in higher-ed efficiency. The report shows that Mississippi has identified healthcare as a target for job creation. Regarding manufacturing, Mississippi has seen notable growth in the aerospace sector, some metals industries, and some
