Verde Valley Caregivers Coalition welcomes five new staff members to help with the growing number of clients the organization serves.
The expanded team of dedicated and skilled individuals will give us the capacity to continue fulfilling our mission in this time of rapid growth in need and enable us to recruit and assist many more additional volunteers.

 Tracie Schimikowsky Operations Manager Tracie previously was President and CEO of the Camp Verde Chamber of Commerce. She will oversee daily operations and the work of two new staff positions: the Dispatcher/Call Center Coordinator and the Guardian Angel Program Assistant along with Thrift Store staff.
Tracie's professional background includes: Non-profit Organization Management, Media Relations, Destination Marketing/PR, Hospitality/Resort Industry, Management/Supervisory, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Human Resources, Benefits Administration and Payroll for 250 and 500 employees.  Linda M. Clark Development and Communications Manager Linda has more than 13 years' experience in direct fundraising and public relations, and most recently served as the Foundation Coordinator for Yavapai College Foundation's Greater Verde Valley Chapter. She will provide support for development initiatives and fundraising activities.
Linda's background includes leading/assisting three community college foundations and providing public relations and marketing for two colleges. Linda has a B.S. in Communications and a Master's in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University, and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Northern Arizona Chapter.  Kim Wight Dispatcher/Call Center Coordinator Kim comes to VVCC with 12 years' experience developing and supervising both medical and non-medical call centers focused on providing assistance to people in need.
Kim's background includes private ambulance service, specializing in non-emergent medical transport. She spent several years as a supervisor in the dispatch center as well as their Private Call Answering Point center handling incoming requests for all of northern California. She will work closely with, and in support of, VVCC volunteers who handle the coordination of service requests. Kim and her family have lived in Sedona for eleven years.  Carol Basini Guardian Angel Program Assistant Carol has been a valuable volunteer in the Guardian Angel Program (GAP) the past two years.
Carol has more than 20 years' experience coordinating programs for a school district on Long Island, New York. With the help of dedicated VVCC volunteers, she plans to develop an inventory system to hasten the installation of GAP units, and looks forward to serving the community in need of this service.  Anne Eller, RN, NP Care Transitions Program Manager Ann is a seasoned nurse, having spent many years in hospitals, clinics, and the Peace Corps. She has also provided research for the Women's Health Initiative and spent years with Arizona State University and University of Arizona.
Ann comes to us with several decades' experience in managing clinics and providing medical case management and disease management. She will facilitate the transition from hospital to home and provide training and support for VVCC's services to the community. Ann resides in Sedona.
