We got a nice night sleep last night (Monday) and feel like a million bucks.  We got up and did the doggie thing, which is temporarily complicated because we had our sod replaced in the back yard (4th time since the flood) and we are taking the dogs out front to do the big business and that adds a few minutes to our fun filled mornings.

We got in the office and cleaned up e-mails and took care of some personal finance stuff.  It is amazing how much paperwork we have in the trying to be paperless society.  At one point, Ellen showed me a piece a paper from Schwab that actually said "If you can not read this paper call the following number XXX XXX XXXX."  Ok.

Speaking of Schwab, after doing some homework at lunch today over a Subway Salad (Really good by the way.  Chicken breast with sweet onion dressing.  Sorry Dave, I was running errands and could not eat at Hannah's but need a Hannah's fix once Jack is feeling better.  To answer your question the Meatloaf was good.) I went on line to deploy some new monies and the link to the Streetsmart.com trading platform was gone.  I panicked and eventually called Schwab.  I had once again found a bug in someone's system.  IT people are loving me right about now.  No matter what I did, I got this Schwab error code 10004(2).  The good news was that because I could tell them the error code they new it was not my system.  They got the problem fixed at 12:58 PM.  To late to play today.  Just as well as we had to get ready for a 2:00PM conference call.

After the efficient 2:00 conference call, I was off to a committee meeting about technology at our high school. I am honored to be asked to sit on this committee that is helping guide decisions about the use of technology to enhance the learning experience at Santa Margarita. I think I was invited because I am the father of a Freshman, PADI has an eLearning program, I knew the Chairperson as she is the Principal of Jack's last school Serra Catholic. It was a good meeting and my only contribution was to remind them to define what the measurable end result might be. (I drive people at PADI crazy with that kind of stuff.)
