Tonight we would like to share with all my readings of the weekend. We want to share with you the highlights of the WSJ, Barron's and because we had the time, top line summary of this week's Value Line. But we won't.
Tonight was a special night. Because of the crazy events of last year, the wonderful wedding later in the year, the new high school, we had gotten away from some of regular routine. On Sunday's we would go to mass and have a decent dinner together. For quite a few years it was 5:00 PM mass followed by the prime rib at Wood Ranch.
Today we decided to get back into our routine. Unfortunately, Devin was feeling a bit under the weather, so Jack and I went to mass then to Hannah's for a wonderful meal. As I sat in mass and looked at my son and then enjoyed his company at dinner and saw my friends and Hannah family come by and say hi to Jack, I know how truly blessed I am. He is compassionate and polite, quick witted and respectful. I am very proud.
Tomorrow the market is closed in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. I will have something more substantive for you tomorrow night. Until then, just think that sometimes the best investment you can make is time with the ones you love. |
