Missed That Train
Today was long day. We will keep this brief as we are pooped. We headed into the office early for a video conference with out friend across the pond. Great meeting as we attempt to consolidate the three offices serving our customers in Europe, The UK, Africa, The Middle East and Russia. We have a great team over there and it will happen.
Then we had some follow up strat panning meetings. Good stuff. I never left the office from 7:00 till 5:45. Good things as it was 96 degrees at one point today. I did my best to stay in touch with my lovely bride as she dealt with the heat and running around town. She had some fun with her horses today. It was good to see her when I got home, though I think I was driving her nuts by probing her with too many questions about her day.
I enjoyed a great evening at Hanna's having their really special pear salad and half a hamburger. I also enjoyed a 2001 Vitanza Brunello. A great glass of wine. Despite getting home early, we are tired so let's get into the Market action today.

Missed That Train
We were tied up all day so we did not get to the see the action in the market today, but with another day in the right direction and decent volume, we are in an uptrend I think. Tommorow's IBD will confirm, but all the making of an early rally is there.
We sold you in the merits of NUAN, Nuance over the last few posts. Well even I was surprised to see the Journal this morning and a two page article by Walt Mossberg about Apple and its voice recognition soft ware Siri powered by Nuance. Nuance was not mentioned by name, so I really thought I would catch the below 20.00 price, but that was not to be.
We adjusted our buys for all the portfolios and got in at 22.60 a share, more than 10% hire than we wanted. Here is my justification. The article in The Journal definitely drove the price up. We are placing this a long term core investment. The chart on this stock has formed a sexy little base to grow from. Most importantly, we will be getting out at $20.75 if it adjusts back down.
