First off, thanks to those of you who were able to attend yesterday's event. It was truly a celebration of gratitude as we braved the rain and mud to bless new gardens stewarded by Peter Risley and Hawai'i Institute of Pacific Agriculture. Taking shelter from the weather, the crowd then enjoyed the new 'Iole Exhibit Center, delighting in displays of historic artifacts and maps of 'Iole ahupua'a.
Each attendee yesterday also became a Friend of 'Iole, registering to keep in touch and receive a handy membership card that expedites future check-ins.
If you were not able to be here yesterday, please stop by at your next opportunity to sign up for your own Friends of 'Iole membership card and check out the new Exhibit Center for yourself! We send our warmest holiday wishes and thanks to everyone for supporting 'Iole's trails and programs.
